The Buccleuch Living Heritage Trust is a charity with education at its heart. It is responsible for the world renowned Buccleuch Art Collection and several of the historic properties these items are housed in, in addition to the beautiful landscape and gardens surrounding them.
The charitable trust enables access to these items and buildings of historic, architectural and artistic interest. By visiting, you are helping us preserve these national treasures as all proceeds go towards the charity’s conservation and educational work.
Please note this website is in the early stages of development and we hope to build on the pages in the coming months.
Trustee Dame Rosalind Savill DBE, FBA, FSA
The Duke of Buccleuch and his fellow Trustees were deeply saddened by the death of Dame Ros Savill on December 27th 2024.
Ros had been a Trustee of the Buccleuch Living Heritage Trust since May 2010 but her friendship with the family and the historic collections had spanned many decades and three generations. She was the most wonderful, generous and inspirational of friends and we will never forget her. We will always hold her in our hearts and our thoughts and prayers are with her daughter, Izzy and her husband and her grandson, Edward.
