A lady, formerly called Frances Howard, Duchess of Lennox and Richmond (1576-1639), circa 1600, almost full face, wearing a white dress richly embroidered with coloured flowers, with a high white lace collar, wearing a tiara, red curtain background. On vellum oval, 3in. high. Can be viewed at Bowhill House.
